CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad is a Premier Research Laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research , which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IICT is a multi-disciplinary Institute with proven strengths in Organic Chemistry (drugs, agro chemicals and industrial organics), Inorganic and Physical Chemistry including Catalysis, Lipid Science & Technology, Organic Coatings & Polymers, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering and Design Engineering.

CSIR – IICT is conducting Online Interview for the following positions under various sponsored projects purely on temporary basis.

CHEMICAL & PHYSICAL SCIENCES (CPS)
Project Associate-II (01 Post)

Essential Qualifications : 
MSc in Organic Synthesis with 2 years research experience
Desirable Qualifications : 
Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and knowledge in analytical methods to characterization of organic molecules
Title of the Project :
 Next generation insect resistance in cotton
Stipend (in Rs.) : 35,000+HRA (this fellowship amount is for those who has valid CSIR/UGC-NET fellowship including for lectureship/GATE & for others 28,000+HRA)

Project Associate-I (04 Posts)

Essential Qualifications : MSc Organic/ M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry /Medicinal Chemistry

Note 1 :The above age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups (SC/ST/OBC) and PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/ CSIR instructions on the subject.
Note 2 : The candidates should not have worked for 5 years in any CSIR Labs/Institutes as Project Staff.

After receipt of applications, screening will be done, the eligible candidates will be shortlisted and they will be informed the date of interview through their respective mail addresses to attend online interview for selection. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored projects and does not entitle him/her for the permanent position in CSIR/IICT.
