Academic Qualification: Students applying for various vacancies in Tata Social Sciences should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University / Institution.
Candidates applying for the post of Professor must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Humanities, Education, Law, Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Economics, Geography, Sociology) and PhD with a minimum of 55% plus 10 years of work experience.
Applicants for the Associate Professor position must have a bachelor’s degree (psychology, anthropology, social work, economics, geography, sociology) and PhD in the arts, humanities, education, law, and social sciences, plus 8 years of work experience.
Applicants for the post of Assistant Professor must have passed the Master’s (Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Economics, Geography, Sociology) Net (NET) Examination in Arts, Humanities, Education, Law and Social Sciences. And Ph.D. must be registered.
Salary Details: Candidates selected for TISS vacancy will get paid according to the vacancies.
The professor post is Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.
The rank of Associate Professor is Rs 1,31,400 to Rs 2,17,100.
The post of assistant professor is Rs 57,700 to Rs 1,82,400.
Selection Process: The selection is made based on the candidate’s past record and their performance during the interview. The University may use the seminar / colloquium / lecture and / or any other method as a supplementary method in the selection process.
Application Fee: General 2,000 / – for General, OBC, EWS class and ₹ 500 / – for SC / ST / PwD candidates. There are no fees for women candidates. Candidates have to pay the fee through online mode only.
